I feel like I hit a mini lottery of sorts today....
I went to my next job to go over exactly what she wanted, well she added a lot more work to the scope of work originally planned. I’ll be there a while which equates to more $$ for me which is a good thing in the winter.....winters are usually slow times.
Well going through a big old cabinet there were boxes of intact shell boxes with original ammo.....I know these are valuable to collectors, but they were a gift from her so they will add to the ambience of the UPHMS. They’ll look nice on a shelf next to that vintage T&G knotty pine.

Gonna have to rant a little
Maybe 6-8 years ago my propane company contacted me and said I wasn't using enough propane to justify having a 500 gal tank. Unless I used the minimum amount they were going to charge me a tank rental fee even though there was nothing mentioned about it when I first became their customer. If I downsized to a 120 gal tank there was no minimum usage. I agreed to take a smaller tank and things were rosy for a number of years.I should note, also, that when they set my 120 they charged me a pump out fee, credited me 1.09/ gal for the gas left in the tank and then charged me 1.49 for putting MY gas back in MY smaller tank.
In September I got a rental fee bill from them for not using enough with my 120. I started shopping around and ended up changing companies in December. Today I called them to come get their tank and they told me I owed them 176.00 for tank rental and late charges at 39.00 per month. Also, they charge 59.99 to come get their tank. I asked if I could trailer it back to them and was told no, it's against the law. They ended up waiving the 176.00 because they couldn't find the original rental agreement but are still charging the 59.99 pick up fee. She told me it might be a while before they could pick it up because they're busy this time of year. Soooo, should I back charge them 59.99 for leaving their tank on my property? She told me, on the phone, that it would have been polite to call them sooner and say I was switching companies , I said it would have been polite to call me and tell me they were going to start charging me rent.
Rant over and no, I didn't pay the pumping fee or the 1.49 they charged me before, I sent them 1.09 with a note explaining it was my gas to begin with.

Jerry I am no legal beagle, however I did have a semester of basic law while I was at the finest University in all the land. I would say you could give them a bill (backcharge) from the time you asked them to remove it until they do remove it for a monthly fee......I suspect they will ignore you and not send another bill.
G, she had 3 boxes of paper hulled 12 guage buckshot shells (lead) unfired in the box she wanted me to take as well.

Coffee ready, plate of fried taters, eggs over easy and rye toast devoured, I'll be heading out fishing shortly. Getting into the 40's today but with 15 mph south winds, hopefully the fish cooperate again today.
Caught a limit of bluegills and crappie yesterday (25 total combined) and am dropping the fillets off at my sisters this afternoon. She owns the lot on the private lake I'm fishing. She is excited to get the fish and I'm thankful to have access to the lake.

Good morning!
New cargo netting came in the mail yesterday, makes it nice for additional storage in the bow of the boat.
