Liar’s club meeting located at: Campsite to be determined!
This is a time when we meet around the campfire, rekindle old friendships, and establish new ones. We discuss the events taking place such as the fishing tournament, pot luck, and fundraising event. Bring some snacks to share with the group. Pretzels and dip, homemade jerky and sausages, crackers and cheese, and other snack type foods. If you ordered a T-shirt, they will be distributed at this time (remember the cost is $10.00). We will have the fishing tournament sign up, and also start selling raffle tickets for the fund raising event.
Saturday, June 10th
Fishing Tournament
7am (or first safe light) until 1pm
Weigh in will be held after 1pm (place to be determined)
The rules for the tournament will be a little different this year. The cost will be $5.00 per person (NOT per boat as in years past). As always, youth under the age of 17 are FREE. Each person will weigh their (2) biggest Crappies. Combined weight of those two fish will establish the winner. In the event of a tie, we will have a “competition” to determine the winner!!!! The top three places will receive a custom made plaque. The overall winner will receive this:

Luncheon. Bring a dish to pass.
Sign up below for what you plan to bring so that we don’t have 37 bags of chips! Remember, we will also need fish fryers, crappie fillets, cooking oil, plates and silverware, paper towels, garbage bags, serving/warming trays (for crappie), EZ-Up tents…
After luncheon we will have our fund raising raffle. All items have been custom built, altered, designed, or hand made by our members. Raffle tickets will be available until just before the raffle. Like with our previous raffles, you can put as many tickets in the jar as you like for each item.

Forgot to mention, my EZ up is no more. It took flight at the last fishing tournament. Last we saw it it was somewhere over Ohio waters!!!
FYI: WE NEED FILLETS!!!
Looked in the freezer last night and all I have is walleye fillets. As you know from my previous post (yesterday), I've been crappie fishing once this year. I'll talk to Kevin tomorrow and see what he has at his place. John, we might need to dip in to your freezer stock!!
