Great idea!

In the last couple of years we have done community fund raising events and raised money for some great causes. Unfortunately, our general fund has dwindled down and it is once again time to fill the proverbial coffer.
These funds are important to be able to secure items such as pavilions, plaques and trophies, thank you and get well gifts, and other operating costs.
What we would like to do this year is hold a raffle. We know that many MICDC make very unique items that others would love to have. Our members are diverse in woodworking, steel and metal work, fishing rod building, and many other things.
If you or your spouse would like to make something for the raffle, please let me know. Items could be anything. Homemade preserves, custom wood work, needle point, hand weaved baskets, bird houses, steel bird feeders. Anything.
Let me know. Remember, what we make and consider normal, others would love to have.

I'll get it started. I'm offering a weekend at my " shack " , the Beats a Tent Resort on beautiful Townline lake.
^I'll be throwing some $$$$ for the chance at that prize ^
Nice "shack" Jerry!
Rich I sent you a PM.
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D
Aweson Jerry. Just the kind of ideas I had. Great example to raise money!
We will be posting other photos as the products are made!
I would be a better tour guide than fishing guide. I could show you all kinds of cool stuff. Who wouldn't want to see the Amish cheese factory or the bulk potato warehouse or Kings Korners ice cream shop in Sylvester or the best garage sales? So much to do, so little time.

If anybody has a set of chaps they'd like to raffle off, please bring them along. I think we are going to need a pair for the goat riding newbies this year.
I won't let the cat out of the bag and say what it is......but I will say I have begun the process of whittling it down a bit.
