Thread: Missing "Just Steve"

Did I ever tell you about the time that Steve....Oh, he can see what I write? Never mind...

There was this one time at band camp...............

I wanted to thank Steve. He pm'ed me and asked for help. Just the fact that he gave me that much credit meant a lot. Of course, I am too dumb to help with his problem, so I passed him off on Slab. But you need a guy to turn a picture, I'm your man. haha

I'm back! Much thanks to D, YD, and Slab!

Ever since day 1 on this site it seems like I have battled issues, after I registered I never got a email to proceed but I had managed to get through to a member ( I think it was Larry) and asked him to contact a mod to check what the problem was. Then for the longest time I had difficulties typing.....I can type fine, the site wasn't recognizing it, someone told me to try a different setting......I did, so now my typing is fine but I have to switch the setting to send pictures. For months now I have been unable to receive notifications, both for PM's and for responses to threads I've posted in.

But this last issue left me nowhere to go since it didn't recognize me as a member, I had no functions at all....I just am greatful I had Don's phone number so I could contact him via text messaging and tell him what was happening. He helped me out best he could and then put it in Slab's hands to get me back. I think its a good idea to have someones contact info just for cases like this.

So again thank you to Danny, Don and Ed for getting me back......those of you who wished I was gone for good have those guys to blame LOL

Don't know if you got an explanation from Ed, but it sounded like the last issue had to do with you being an "unconfirmed member". Apparently that will happen if you change emails or something. Can't explain all the other issues tho.

You could have shot me a text... I have Don's number who has Danny's number who knows a guy that once fished with Ed. I'm sure we could have sent him some smoke signals!!!

There is a contact us button at the bottom of every page but if you cannot get that to work...just send a e-mail to [email protected] Just like Andy once told Aunt Bea....just call the man...lol
