Check out the Mississippi forum off topic thread. They have info on a good buy on Yeti type coolers. Never heard of that brand but reviews sound good and the price is right.

I have a Yeti, I have 2 Engels. In my opinion for the money and performance I prefer the Engel. My .02

https://www.rticcoolers.com/ Here it is. Low price comes up when you add to cart. Seems like a super price.

Wow, can't believe they can actually get away with calling out Yeti!

I would say they are both build by the same company. If not, this one won't be around long. Especially when they came out with an identical product.

Field and stream did an independent study on the top five brands for durability, ice longevity, handles, latches, weight, cost, etc... They threw em out of trucks at 40 mph. Lets just say Yeti wasn't number one. Or two. Or three.

The first model is smaller than my Engel and 1/3 more money. The engel has better latches, handle, can be used as a dry box, purchased with rod holders on the side, and come in five different colors!

If you don't have any luck here, try craigslist.

Yeah, Craigslist can be frustrating with all the fake adds and scams but once I figured out how to weed those out I've had good luck both buying and selling. I just bought a 1995 Chevy 4x4 from Louisiana off CL. Had my son test drive it for me and I'm heading down with Jeff on the 10th to drive it home. Taking the boat and are going to crappie fish while we're there then home on the 18th.

I don't disagree, however I have bought and sold a few items off CL. The stuff I sold ( a Farmall tractor) was in good shape, I just wanted it gone fast. I bought my Thompson boat off CL and it was a good one, owner was moving to Alaska and needed it gone ASAP, bought a John Deere gravity wagon and running gear that was in very good for it's age condition, a 1960's era Rockwell drill press was a great find for me. I've also seen some stuff on there like Rich says, was a place to get rid of their broken, rusted out, worn out, used up crap.

    As in every purchase......buyer beware.
