Sorry I hadn't replied to this before.
    Very good post Rich.
My wife and I lost our little girl Kristen very early in her life and I always wondered what she would have grown up to be like. Would she have been a girly girl like her mom or taken on the characteristics of her dad and brothers. I'd like to believe she would have been both, just like your Abbey.
Then years later we were blessed with a grand daughter, Ava, and I can tell you she is every bit as able to hang out in the duck blind, deer stand or out fishing as any young boy......in fact she plays that role much better than her brother does and some grown men.
So hats off to those little girls raised outdoors, what a blessing they are!

Happy Birthday Abbey from Sandy & I. It just looks like you'll be one of those young ladies that can fish Walleyes all day, sit in a tree stand, help your Dad cut wood, go Perch fishing with Gram & Gramps, and still be a beautiful princess ready for a school dance by 8pm. Hope your Birthday was a special one.
