    Default mott lake crappie


    managed a few sunday morning. water is just getting to 60 deg. 3 of them were females, looks like they were just starting to make eggs, very small sacks

    Niiiice. Good job, and looks like a bonus rock bass in there as well. Been catching a few big ole pig rock bass lately myself.

    yea he has hooked pretty deep so we kept him too. going after them again in the morning, water is very high and dirty where we were getting them last week. but cant catch them on the couch.

    CS Mott has been on my hit list for a couple of years. These photos are making it hard for me to not load up the rig and make the drive over.

    well that confirms it mot is doing well a buddy of mines friend showed up on kent lake today saying the fish were bigger at mott lk. that and the walleye were hitting on mott last week. funny he said that cause as soon as he said that i caught a 12 inch eye on my crappie rig lol's. and a couple crappie on the other rigs i had out lol's but ya it still going on down here, so central / northern Michigan it should still be going on...........
