Sandy & I got out fishing Sun. just ahead of this front. The Perch were in a feeding frenzy. I don't know how many we got total? But we came home with 33, the biggest being 11" and nothing under 7-8". We probably could have gotten one limit, but we ran out of minnows. I've only seen Perch bite like that a few times. I cleaned them up and we had a really good fish dinner. Great fun catching them in 3' of water.

Ya Rich, I have done that too. I figured 33 was plenty to clean--and it was...

Besides, you can always go back and try again! Fried up a mess of perch last night myself.

I'm a "skin" on guy when it comes to perch so scaling them takes even longer. Took Brian and I two hours to do 100 a couple of weeks back. I guess that is why I am not in any hurry to get back out there!

We managed 19 nice ones today. Cousins are down from the Soo. Had a great time, and had a nice Perch dinner...

Sweet. I'll take 19 good perch over most other fish any day of the week. I hide my perch in another freezer so others think I don't have any left!!!
