good job on the fish!!!!
I hope to get after the crappie this weekend....
mouth is watering for some fresh crappie fillets!
Me and the old man went out after work today. Hit the water around 4:15ish. Went right to the spot I caught them Monday. The bite was red hot. The wind was blowing pretty good, water temp was 53.5-54 degrees. We stayed right around 5-5.5 foot of water. Fishing pink/white stinger jigs with chartreuse tails, on white 1/64 heads. Used chartreuse nibbles for bait. We put the jig 2.5' under a bobber and went to town.
when we left the lake around 7:30 we had caught our limit.
most were 9-11". One or two snuck by in the 8" range, and we had a good handful of 11"ers. Lots of females full of eggs. They were hitting the bait real light, but once they tasted it, they took it. Lots of second and third hit chances...
All in all it was a good day. It was my first time putting the live well to use on the new boat, so that was exciting.
We didnt take many pics, as we were busy reeling them in, but here's the haul...
Here fishy, fishy, fishy...

Great job on the Crappies. It is fun when you find a spot like that. I might actually take the weekend of from Walleye fishing and hit a local crappie hot spot..... MIGHT
I have OCD "Obsessive Crappie Disorder"
Nice catch there , somebodies gonna have to show me how to catch crappie again. It's been so long since I've caught any. Lol
