You guys are having more fun than I thought was possible. I see the weather there looks lovely. And where is Kevin? I sure hope you guys do a video so we can share in your adventure. Tight-lines
Next time? Try unhooking the hose and let Steve "pee" in it to thaw it out...

Kevin is dealing with some family medical issues with his mother and law. He will be on the river tomorrow as well as Eric and my dad. I think dynamite might be in order!
Good idea Larry. But, like Steve said, very hard to find three inches of manhood in 5 inches of winter cloths.
I don't have any dynamite but I do have a friend that makes homemade fireworks... I could probably improvise.
Hope everything is well with Kevin's family. How about a few photos for us land lubbers. Are you finding the honey holes? Good Luck!
I can only imagine how nasty the conditions were out there today.

Actually wasn't too bad. Mist more than anything, sprinkled a little. Spit snow after I left. I'll take that over rain and run off. Water was milky today and visibility around a foot.
Eric lost one good fish at the net. Got them on our drift and his dad caught one. I caught a 7lb female and one of the biggest males I've caught on the river. Fish stomachs are empty. Clear water and they have to eat. Temp was 40.1 surface. We are right on track for the spawn to start next weekend. Kevin pulled the night shift as he came around noon.
Tomorrow I'll hit some different spots to locate more. Finding them and not finding them are the same when pre-fishing. You know where they are, and where they are not.
Sorry Gary, no photos as my phone hates me. Thanks for the propane Steve, I put it on my 25 year old heater instead of my 30 year old one. Works like a champ!
5 fish like the ones today and we will be good. Need them both days!
Rich doesn't post many pictures of himself fishing, so I thought I'd add one from our trip on Tuesday.
