Have a great day all and remember to thank God between mouthfuls for all the blessings. Carol and I are hosting our daughter and her hubby...that's it for us. Have a great day all and be safe.

    Greetings all,
I'm trying a "TurDuckIn" for the first time. The duck cost more than the turkey and chicken put together. Boneless, skinless duck, stuffed into a chicken and then into a 13# turkey with layers of dressing between each. I took the backbone out of the chicken and the turkey to make carving easier. Next year ( if I like it) I'm gonna shoot my own duck and avoid the expense. Wife and kids are skeptical so they are cooking their own turkey separate.
I think I'd like to try a BIG Walleye, stuffed with a Bass, then several crappie and some perch and gills. I wonder??????

    Have a blessed Thanksgiving,
I praise and thank Jesus every morning for being born in this country.

Dang Mike, you should just go out and shoot yourself that duck. Here is how I started my Thanksgiving Day prior to a houseful of family. A dandy Canadian Honker and a sweet little Bufflehead that would fit right nicely into a chicken.

    Default TurDuckIn

    Hey Frank - great idea,
The experiment went well. The duck was the best. The chicken was overcome by the taste of the turkey. The next time I do this, which will be soon, I'm going to put two ducks inside a small turkey. I think the turkey keeps the skinned duck from drying out. But you just gave me a great idea. Forget the turkey. Stuff two ducks inside a goose with some dressing. Wow. Now I need to shoot a goose too! I've never been duck or goose hunting so this will be a new experience. I just hope the cold and wet don't lock up these old bones and joints.
Had a GREAT weekend with Tiff and the kids.
