Get your wifey a swim spa, we love ours. Grandkids come over and think it's a pool. Bigger is always better, right. I like that it's maintainable and not inground. I seen too many home with leaking pools when we were shopping for homes down here.

And as far as the moving to Florida thing. We love it down here. I guarantee it added 10 years to my life. No longer putting on the winter weight. I lost 20 pounds and never looked back. There's so much to do here. Been here 10 years and have not scratched the surface. The bugs ain't nothing, now that we found tea tree oil. And the vermin are rare and fun to see too, no biggie. And I'm primarily talking about snakes which I used to despise. Now like I said, no biggie. And another thing, no matter where I live north or south, I'll always live on the water. I love it here. Woulda moved long before had I known. No more snow, no more rusted cars, no more scary drives in blizzard conditions, and especially no more cold. AC only has to bring the temps down ten or twenty degrees as opposed to having to raise the temps up from Zero! That's just my two cents. To each there owns. And I'll go north to visit, but maybe just summertimes kinda a thing.

Those spas look pretty cool. I like that we can drive to the showroom and she can jump in and test each. The Swim Spa looks nice but I would have to try to find a spot for it. Thanks.

Bought some Macrame cord in white. Cutting a piece about a foot long, then extracting the weave and then combing the material with a dog brush, yields the white stuff you see being used as a shad belly. It also looks nice with flash mixed in. The idea is not mine, rather a knockoff of the expensive EP Fibers. One roll of macrame cord, at EP Fiber prices, would cost about 3 thousand bucks. One roll of make your own at Amazon- $13.

E P probably has a bigger pool than Slab.

Just saying. Anyways I wanted to try my hand at making EP style stuff. I can’t say that I am super impressed with the stuff but the night is young. I was able to color it with sharpies and do some interesting things.

The jig you see has Mare-A-Boo on top and will give a fine profile to even the most ridiculous fish. So I am thinking it is probably gonna be a belly material for me.
