Tom, just wanted to let you know that I took my boat out today and ran up and down the lake to make sure what mine is doing compared to yours and heres what I came up with. It is doing just what I said earlier but there are a few differences being I have done a bit of mods. buy removing most of the back deck and sliding the fuel tank to the rear 10'', and I don't use the live wells, only an ice chest. The best I can figure with just me 210lbs. and what came out of my boat because of the mods. about 200lbs. ,you could have as much as 500lbs. more weight than I do, but I think if you would try raising the jack plate up some it should help get the rpm's up closer to where they should be. I really do believe you got the right prop already it just needs a little tweeking on that motor height. paw paw perch
honey.'':o the weather is to bad to work in the yard so I think I'll go fishing''

if you change to a 22" pitch your rpm will change to 5600 rpm roughly

if you change to a 26" pitch your rpm will change to 5800 rpm roughly

I think you meen a 26 pitch the rpm will be 4800 right?
