A few pictures would help.

You mean when you’re loading?
is anything broken/ bent framing on the bunks?
are all the bolts still in the bunks?
Putting on the trailer with the fender right at water level?

try bringing the trailer up a little higher, and power loading the boat up the bunks. (If nothing ids broken/bent/twisted. )

Hey, TT ... maybe your bunks have "moved" ?? But, yeah, like Clint says .... it might help to have some pics.

Bunks rotted?

Yes, while loading. Nothing appears to be broken. I will check bunks next trip, thanks. I back the trailer at pretty much same depth. It may vary ramp to ramp due to slope.

It looks to me like the bunks are to wide.

I think the pic in post #6 is the right side of the boat sitting on top of the bunk by about a 1/2 inch. The right bunk looks to be mounted to the bracket offset toward the center of the trailer.

I think the pic in post #7 is the left side of the boat sitting on the top of the bunk by less than a 1/2 inch. The left bunk looks to be centered on the mounting bracket.

Guessing that the bunks would be mounted pretty much the same on both sides I would look at the left side to see if it looks like that bunk has moved some how.

You could measure the distance from the outside of each bunk, and the inside distance of where the boat should sit on the bunks. I think the measurements will show that the outside distance of the bunks is about an inch wider than the inside distance of where the boat is supposed to sit on the trailer.

If that is the case you then have to get them lined back up the way they were.

Edit to add, If you look at where the bunks are mounted to the brackets you should be able to tell if they have moved. I would think that the carpet where the mounting bracket attaches to the bunk would be flattened down from the bracket, Shouldn't be that hard to see if bunks have moved since 2006.
