I used to run ethanol free gas but for the last few years I’ve just used 87 octane Shell gas. My outboard motor is a 2015 Mercury 115 4 stroke. I haven’t seen any difference between the E0 and the E 10 fuel. If I was running an older motor that had seals that weren’t compatible with alcohol I’d use ethanol free fuel.

I try to keep fresh gas in the boat by using stabilizer and by just keeping the tank as full as I think I’ll need.

No corn gas in my 2015 mercury 75 4stroke. It burns the 90 octane rec gas (no corn)very slow so $1 more a gallon aint that bad. Haven't had to paddle home yet. Have pulled in a few that had motor trouble to the ramp over the years. All 3 said they was running corn gas. I do use 87 corn in the truck, it never sits still long. I run the corn in the mower and have to buy carbs about every 2 years but not bad since 27hp kohler carb is $25 bolt on ready

Ethanol free in all Outboards & Lawn equipment. Also Ethanol free in my 2001 2500HD Silverado since I do not drive it much the fuel turnover is too low to park with Ethanol in the tank. Same truck must run premium E10 or the computer retards the timing so bad it produces about 20% less horsepower. Since I'm pulling a 7500# camper most of the time I need the extra torque. 2009 Silverado is a Flex-Fuel vehicle, runs on tomato juice but can't pull a lawnmower uphill. I think it is rated for 4800# towing where the old truck is rated for 10,800#'s. The Mercedes requires premium, and the Fishin' Expedition may even get fed dishwater (it gets abused).

Around here we have Quiktrips and suppose to be top tier gas I get better mileage from BP.

E10 in every thing around the farm if it burn gas it has E10 in it no problems fuel related my 2000 Optimax roughly 1800 hours has never seen any thing besides E10.

The fuel formulations have gotten much better the longer E10 has been around, I do know when E10 first came out people had problems with it. Most of that was it actually cleaned out the old carbs and fuel tanks of gunk from the old gas formulation.

Sounds like it does like Bio diesel does to big trucks. If you put it in the tank and it wasen't shinny, it soon would be. Had to have extra fuel filters on the truck, cause they for sure were going to plug up.

Top Tier Regular Gas, Quicksilver Fuel Stabilizer always at recommended 1 oz per 10 gallons. Regular fuel stays fresh there, they sell over 8,000 gallons of regular per day, gas is always fresh (3 truck stops near each other, each stays busy) I have a fuel filter/water separator on my boat, I never see any water in it.
Non ethanol gas moves very slow around here, I will not pay near premium price for fuel that could be stale.
