Thread: First time using a roller trailer almost a disaster

I got a used Alumacraft eacape and I thought I was going to like that it was a roller trailer but I'm having major concerns now. I waited to release it until it was in the water. I had a rope tied to the trailer as I was by myself. The boat went vertical quite a bit when it was coming off the trailer. Wouldn't that mean it wasn't in the water far enough? I sure thought I was.

Sure sounds like it could have been a little deeper down the ramp
