    Hi guys, what’s the average cost to have someone to recarpet a 17’ triton fiberglass boat?

    I'm sure it will depend on the quality of rug you get, but my buddy just this past year had a guy do his 18' ranger and it was right at $3K.

    Had a 361 Ranger done. Cost was 1100.00 Was in july of 2023. Three thousand seems pretty steep IMO.

    I'd never pay $3K for carpeting a boat. That is EXPENSIVE!

    I wouldn't either. Guy was asking for pricing and I was just relaying the info I had.

    Just dropped off my 2000 Crestliner for re-carpet with color change and changing some hatches was quoted $2,000, after it is done gonna tell him that he is too cheap for the amount of time. If it was not for the color change then he would be pretty much spot on. With the color change every piece of carpet and the consoles have to be pulled apart and all redone.
