I am going to look at a used Stick Steer boat this week. It's a 1995 Fisher Hawk 15 SS. I have been trying to research this further, but i can't find a lot of info. It appears that this was made after Fisher was sold to Brunswick in 1990 and before it was sold to Tracker in 1996.

As with any boat that is nearly 30 years old, I worry about decay. I have read some information that says Fisher boats around that time were all aluminum, but apparently they did start putting wooden floors sometime in the 90's. My questions are:

1. Does anyone know if this model was all aluminum or not?

2. Does anyone in the community have any experience with this model or similar ones built around this time?

Obviously I will try to determine the condition of the floor, transom as well as the rest of the boat when I go see it. I was hoping to get some feedback on what to specifically look at and also what experience others have had with Fisher boats from this time frame. I have only bought one used boat previously and while I think I did pretty well, I am far from experienced at knowing what to look for.

I also have some reservations that even though it looks very good in pictures, the registration sticker on the boat is the pictures is from 2016.

I really like the idea of a Stick Steer boat and used ones in this part of the country are pretty rare.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
