    Default Check Those Hubs

Be sure to pay close attention to your hubs. I didn't and now have a 1200.00 axle ordered for my trailer. I had oil filled hubs and never saw any leakage. I didn't look close enough. Seems one of mine were seeping due to fishing line being wrapped on the inside back seal. My failure to properly maintain my trailer cost me a trip this week, not to mention the cost of replacing the axle. Don't make this mistake. Pay attention to those hubs.

That sucks. Was cutting off and welding on new spindles not an option? I really dont know much about oil bath hubs.
