    Default Muffs for a mercury

I found a nitro boat with a mercury on it that I might go look at. Will regular muffs work on it or do I need special muffs for a mercury?

If it has shallow water pick up in nose you will need special muffs otherwise regular will work.

The last two generations of 4 strokes have a hose attachment built in. Not sure about the 2 strokes

Mine says to connect via flush port and either do it with motor off or running. I would personally only do it at idle speeds, but you cant run them over 2k when on muffs anyways.

I use muffs because its just as easy to grab them off the shelf, and i can run without worry until the thermostat opens to flush the whole block.

They sent me pictures of it and they are just like the one I have here at home so my muffs will work on it
