    Default 115 Evinrude

Here goes, I have a1996 115 HP Evinrude Intruder with Optic 2000 electrical system. Motor runs great sometimes others it cuts out at full throttle.
Have replaced all gas lines and fittings. Also have ran boat on a small tank.
    Carbs have been pro rebuilt.
    Powerhead has been pro rebuilt.
    External fuel pump.
    New stator.
    New power pack.
    New starter.
Too many more items to lists.

Have not replaced the optic eye.

    Any ideas?

Does it "cut out" slowly or like a switch? If slowly it's likely fuel, if "like a switch" then electrical.

Sounds like the charging coils on the stator may be starting to go. Usually the engine has to be hot before it starts. If it does it when not fully warmed up and running a bit probably not the stator.

Well I didn't see a rep,y to my last question, but I'll ask a couple more trying to help you
1)Were you having the same problem before the rebuild?
2)Were all those (electrical) parts replaced during the "rebuild"? or did your "mechanic" just start replacing parts to try and find the problem?
