They make some direct burial rated heat shrink. It has the sealant inside that bonds to the wire sheath making it waterproof. Be sure to splice the sheild wire back together to help prevent interference
I have a Garmin striker 4 and the cat chewed the power and transducer wires into. Is there a good way to splice the transducer wire together?

I don't know about Garmin but I have done out with humminbird transducer wire with side and down scan. It was a pain in the butt but it did work flawlessly. Cut each wire at a little different length, solder them together, heat shrink each one, then heat shrink over the whole thing. Before you shrink the whole thing put a dab of silicon on there and heat shrink that on the inside to keep water out. In the end it won't be much bigger in diameter than the original wiring.
