Thanks for the information. The switch I'm using allows both batteries to connect at the same time in parallel. So I can just run and charge both batteries in that setting. I have a C-Tek 7 amp smart charger and I wasn't sure how it would handle charging both batteries at the same time. It has a automatic float setting that monitors the battery level and automatically turns the charging back on when it senses the battery dropping too much.. not sure how this works with two batteries in parallel.
Both batteries are new Everstart Maxx 29DC 115 AH deep cycle batteries.
