    yes it was sitting for abit how would i go about cleaning this wire brush??

    A hand held wire brush should get most if not all of that off.

    Fresh water only but when I looked at the impeller housing
    The top hole rubber bushing was onto of it not in the hole fixed that.
    So may be that and previous owner beached it on the bank

    Speaking of wire brushes, the Dollar General has a three pack of wire brushes that are similar looking to a tooth brush, handy for use in small or tight areas.
    They used to be a dollar, but thanks to inflation they are now $1.25. I keep 'em around the garage and find use for them often.
