Be sure to fuse the 10 ga positive wires at the battery, 30 amp max, then each unit must be fused appropriately.
I failed to note to connect electronics to cranking battery, not TM battery.

Im not really sure what those wires are for because I had everything prepped and installed from manufacturer and dealer when I ordered boat a yr ago....i agree that needs to be fused on cranking battery and I think it is by looking at setup. I appreciate the info and if I have to get back into this will dive deeper into each specifically

I’m a huge fan of the Blue Sea products for bus bars, breaker panels, and switchable trolling motor breakers. I had a similar rats nest behind my bow access panel and I cleaned up all of my accessory and lighting connections with this bus bar. Then I pulled fused #10 wire to the cranking battery for my bow unit.

Yes, Blue Sea bus bars are great.
I always prefer to fuse as close to the power source as possible, greatly reduces the amount of wiring that may get melted - "Just in case".

Fusing as close as possible is the best practice for sure.

I have seen long, tucked away bunches of wires that melted together in a mess that could have easily been avoided.
