    Default A Better way??

After taking off my trolling motor I had to get into the wiring a little bit. This image is from initial install. Im not trashing this but when I returned TM I redid this similarly. Im an overkill kinda guy so was thinking gotta be better hook-up way of doing better connections...4 wires to the 1 wire.....

Not real sure BB...big red wire is main power, then I have 2 units, 360 mega, and i pilot link I think is what those are forbut not 100%.....
I struggled to get the 4 little red wires twisted and crimped and covered with heat shrink to my likening....just thinking if I have to do this again gonna do it better and rock solid

They make polaris connectors. It is rubber insulated reusable connector. Or one of these type of connectorsName: 41SecL2DExL._AC_SY780_.jpg

This, it is best that electronics are connected directly to battery with their own heavy gauge wire, most recommend at least 10 gauge.

As an example, run a pair of 10 ga to console connected to a fuse block, connect units to fuse block, then a separate pair to bow to a fuse block.

Be sure to fuse the 10 ga positive wires at the battery, 30 amp max, then each unit must be fused appropriately.
