If they aren't sagging from the weight of the boat or broken they should be fine. Badly rusted with pitting I would consider replacing them
The old boat is mow off the trailer. How do I know of my Leaf Springs need replacing? Should I do it out of principle. Trailer is 14 yrs old.

As long as they still have plenty of arch/travel when loaded they should be good. They will eventually sag but it takes a long time, they can break as well and they have alignment pins that need to be in good shape so the axle cannot move.
I've had one break from hitting a pothole so I'd suggest you look them over really well while the boat is off. It's probably a good idea to remove the bolt/pin that goes through the eyes and inspect/lube them. If they are seized, it adds additional stress on the spring itself. Also, check the torque on the u-bolts. If they aren't tight it can break the alignment pins like Atimm mentioned. If you're gonna replace anything, now's the time since its unloaded!
I was thinking hubs&springs. 150$ peace if mind.

Never hurts to change them if it makes you feel better. Peace of mind is worth a lot.

As mentioned, today's springs might not be a step up.
With the boat on your trailer, have someone "Good Sized" to get in the boat, move around some, and watch the springs. Some lube here and there might be good.
Just thinkin', my trailer is a 1993 model, original springs. They could be 30 years old. Still doing just fine. You might have some good years left in yours...
Salt water is rough on any part of a trailer that can be rusted
