My wife has no concept of backing a trailer and many times it was an exercise of frustration for both of us. We do use cell phones to communicate. Now-a-days my instructions to her are pretty simple. I want this camper tire right here, as I point to the tire and ground. Tell me when I'm close. Or watch the trees and let me know if they will hit the camper. I give her a single task, something to watch and let me know if I will hit it. It's one less thing I have to worry about, and she gets to help.

Thank you. You must do the research on the camper. Some come with a receiver hitch for towing, others don't but you can add one, and others you can't add one. I spent 2 years researching 5th wheels to find the one I needed, and one the wife would approve. She wanted a Hilton on wheels. We ended up with a 2019 KZ 231RK Sportsmen 5th wheel. Bought it new in 2018. The current models come with a 1 1/4" hitch, bike racks and the such. The Durango models come with a 2" hitch, trailer towing up to 3,000 pounds. Mine came with the rack which has a 300 pound load capacity. I bolted on a 5,000 pound receiver hitch to tow the boat.
