Yesterday while taking the Kenner out on High rock I noticed it didnt have water coming out of the tell tale hole. (135 Opti)
Since it was making water out the exhaust, I knew the water pump was pumping so I made the call to go on and the water would blow the mud out of the hole once it was under way and the mud got wet. I was wrong. Long story short. Ended up taking the cowl off, un hooking the hose and straightening a hook to dig the bee crud from the hole. (more than just mud)
Is there a good way to keep them from building in there?
Maybe a golf tee stuck in the hole when the boat is not being used?
