I got my first ultrasonic cleaner the other day. I went big and got the 15L, which hopefully won't be too big. Primary purpose will be to clean outboard parts, probably more so carbs. Any advice on which solvents to use and at what rate to dilute them with water? I know Simple Green is commonly used and that they also offer an aircraft cleaner that is safer for aluminum. Also saw where Mean Green works well. I've read to avoid Purple Power unless you dilute it a lot, but I'm not sure I'll ever even trust it enough to try it.

Right now I have a test batch running consisting of parts off an old junk carb. I put in 3 gal of water with a few squirts of Dawn and a few oz of simple green concentrate from the spray bottles. It's a pretty weak mixture but it's absolutely working.
