I have a TH Marine Pro Hi-Jacker HP jack plate on by boat. Does anyone know the required maintenance and how to perform? Does it require hydraulic fluid or grease? Thanks for any help.

For sure learn the torque values for all fasteners on your model and there's a great start...
according to another source, it is the trim unit. And it most likely requires hydraulic fluid. I found mine (I think). It appears to be no problem to empty (if this is what I'm looking at) the problem would be filling. Cap is not on top it is on the side. Therefore you would be trying to pour fluid in fill hole that is on the side. I thought the trim unit was part of the jack plate. Hopefully someone familiar with jack plates will respond. Thanks for the advice on the fasteners. Sound advice.

That Jack plate is just that a Jack plate to set motor back from transom. The hydraulic cylinder your looking it is the trim and tilt that is part of the motor. No real maintaince to do except to keep mounting bolts properly tightened. Needs to be checked on a regular basis. No real reason to change hydraulic fluid unless you have a leak and have to replace a seal.
Great idea on checking torque, I definitely need to do thst
