Bearings & Drives Unlimited III in Wilkes-Barre, PA - 570-822-7196 | USA Business Directory - CMac.ws call these guys, maybe you can take your bearing in to them and they can match them with new ones? I found them using a google search.
i went to pack my boat trailer wheel bearings today, found a bad seal so i had to replace it, but the bearings are something out of the ordinary for my past, although it's been 20yrs since i done a trailer bearings, i bought this 14ft alum boat and trailer last year, so i take it apart and the bearings are not tapered bearings, these were 1"id x 2"od x 3/8" thick 2 bearings is each hub, is this common today. and no part number on the bearing, so i am trying to figure what type to get, any suggestions
thanks

The last time I checked my trailer bearings I found I could buy new hubs with bearings from Amazon for the same price as bearings and seals locally.
Just bring them into any parts store. They will measure them if they need to, but chances are they are just a standard 1" trailer hub bearing.
They should be able to tell you what you need. I'm no expert but I would buy a quality bearing over a cheaper one. I have no idea what bearing are in my hubs.. I bought the Dexter Axle and hubs from TexTrailer 2 years ago. I keep them greased with Lucas Marine grease and have never had a problem.

Take both needle bearings to a parts store and measure using micrometers. It's possible they are 2 different sizes even if only by a 1/16. Most likely there is a number on them they are just tough to see. It could be laser etched instead of embossed. It is almost as cheap to buy the hub assembly but without knowing proper size and taper it's a gamble that you will order the right part.

Yep I found that to be true too..All I can add is Clean is a major part
If you can see the numbers stamped on the bearings, this little chart may help you.
