Default Installing Minn Kota quick release mount

I have yet another question. Sorry for all the questions. I got the quick release bracket for my new motor that's coming. I looked up the measurements and it looks like it's barely going to fit. The front two screws I will not be able to get underneath to put a bolt on as the rim or whatever of the boat goes underneath there. Is there a certain type of screw I can get that will drill into the metal and safely hold the puck in the front? Last thing I want to do is not secure well and have it come off. I will be moving the light. Name: IMG_20200412_194804975.jpg

If it were me... I would get some aluminum and add a deck extension behind the small part thats on the bow now. At least 1/4 in thick, cut to shape and Bolt it to your rails. Maybe reinforce underneath it with some aluminum angle. Then you can bolt your TM mount on solid. Use stainless bolts.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

You could even use a piece of plywood covered with aluminum across the front behind the pointed metal on the front to make it level, then bolt thru to hold the trolling motor. That front metal piece,,,,you could run braces under it and the added piece to support your addition.
