Tygon is the way to go.
Blue tygon is what we use.
If ordering, and in doubt, do like cray said. Take the line to a small engine shop. They typically have many different sizes, both id and od combinations.
Drinkin coffee, missin fish.
I'm betting it is metric sized. I faced the same issue when replacing a line on my little Yanmar tractor. Fortunately, I was able to use hose clamps and make SAE-sized fuel line work.
I agree with the possible metric size, best to take the line with you.
Look at this site: It mentions the case where 1/4 is too big and 3/16 is too small - the true size for that case is 5.5mm. Not a bad price for what they are selling:
Metric fuel line - JW PARTS PLUS
On my old 'Rude I used weed eater fuel line worked perfect
