I would take it to the salesman you got it from, and see how sweet a deal they can give you.

And they know you will tell your friends what great fellers they are at Ranger!
I have a puncture hole in my year old RT188C that I’m not sure where or how it occurred. Question: should I take it back to the Ranger factory for repair or a local machine shop? It’s almost 4 hours drive to Flippen.

Is that insulation ( foam ) in that hole to the left? If not I’d take to local shop that can weld aluminum. If it is you may have to take back to factory. Would require removing deck, remove foam, weld then re foam inside.

There’s no insulation near; the hole is near the rear of the boat and accessible from the battery/pumps compartment. I disconnected the front live well pump to discover where the leak was.

Ranger dealer I bought it from is 5 hours away and they said I’d have to take it to the factory.

If no possibility of fire in foam I’d search local for a good welder and have him take a look at it.

I have a buddy that would tell you to JB Weld it until you decide what to do about it.
I am serious - He really believes in that stuff!
