The last two new boats I bought ( different brands) the stand pipe for the livewell overflow was too high ...I cut a couple inches off the top and all was well.
Just purchased this new boat. Seems livewell is oer filling and the water spills over the top of tub for livewell. I have checked the over flow drain. Dealer doesn't know either. Anyone have this issue. Ranger tech support trying to come up with a cause also

I’m going to say most likely you have a kink in the hose from the overflow to the drain port that goes through the hull.
Either that or your pump is pushing more water in faster than the outflow can handle. I had that problem on my previous boat.
Might also be a similar problem to what these guys are talking about (orientation of flow valve) : Ranger RT178 livewell question
Thanks everyone, no kinks in hose. I agree with pumping faster than overflow can remove but ranger and dealer don't have an answer for why or how to solve it. Was hoping another rt ranger owner had same issue and found a cure
I had that problem also, solved it with a live well timer. It has 3 settings on it on for 1 minute off for 1 minute works for me. it can also be set for a longer time if that doesn't work.
