Thread: Traxxis

Simply what is the diff between the Traxxis 70 and the 80..other than the 10# thrust and about $100 bucks..there both 24v...I have not found much diff.....I have a 1660 alu Juhn with slight V...My Rip tide 55 is OK..but wearing out...Figger I would step up a notch when I replace... any advice would be wonderful..

Boat /people /full load about 1200# slow moving water almost never rough...Mostly catfish jugs/limb lines/some crappie..never over 3m from boat ramp.

Best I can find is it looks like the 70 has the same smaller motor as the 24 volt 70 lb PDV motors and the 80 has same larger motor as Terrova. I would think the 80 would have more longevity potential than 70. Plus I think you would realize a little longer battery life during the day with the 80. Kind of a toss up really.
