open the cap and fill it. are you sure you have a 2 stroke? 2 strokes wont have a dip stick the plastic tank that holds the oil just fill it up.
Hey guys, I got a 2006 g3 a couple weeks ago. This is my first boat. When I fill up with gas. How do I go about filling the reservoir with oil on the motor. I know I'm supposed to fill with 2 stroke oil. But I dont see a dip stick for the oil level.

There is no dipstick on the oil reservoir. Most will hold about a gallon of oil and some will have a sight window.
You can probably find a YouTube on it.
Easiest way is remove cowel. Oil tank is clear and should have a full mark on it. Level motor and fill tank to full mark.

Exactly !! But, I would add a word of caution .... If you store or trailer your boat with the motor tilted up (on a motor toter of some kind) and you fill the oil reservoir up to the full line, be sure the cap doesn't leak. They usually have plastic threads and those can get damaged if the cap isn't screwed back on correctly.
And always carry extra oil "in the boat"

Thanks for the help. I tried YouTube but it was just ways to disable the oil tank and make it so you premixed like a weedeater.
No reason to fool with yours. Oil pump system on your motor is almost fool proof. I personally have never seen the system fail on any of the smaller motors. Most are usually on the higher hp older motors. OMC being the worst.
I have a 1999 115 mercury 2 strokes and my plastic oil reservoir has a dipstick, connected to the screw in cap
