I have a very old Minn Kota 55 lb thrust that works. I really want spot lock and the heading lock for trolling. The more I read the more I want. I am on a budget and found a Power Drive 55 lb thrust with Ipilot but it is the model with no blue tooth. From what I have read this unit is not as accurate without the extra heading puck. I am still learning so what I just typed could be wrong.
My question I should I just drop the bucket and spend $1,200 on a new Power Drive with Ipilot. The only issue I see is no foot pedal
Or do I spend more and get the Terrova and have it all.
Or do I keep looking for used units
I have a 16ft Tracker V guide with a 40 Yamaha - the current trolling motor works ok but in high wind struggles some

I just purchased a Ipilot 55 terrova no peddle Feb 2018. Only have had it out a few times. Money wasn't easy to let go, so glad I did though. Spot lock, jog and point and go is money. Buy nice or cry twice. gl and have fun.
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot, I have parts missing. Though sometimes I do wonder myself
Another vote for terrova. Well worth the wait.
