Gel coat help

Anyone repaired there gel coat. I have the glitter for mine but clueless on what to use. I tried using some fiberglass resin but it never got hard.

did you use Resin Liquid Hardener that what make the resin get hard ???

I used the clear gardener but it took forever for it to harden and the crack is on the side of the boat and it kept running off the boat. I did attempt to use painters tape to hold it in place but that left a white residue and it just didn’t fill the crack
