Before I spent money on tires I would take my trailer to the shop and have it checked out. I'm sure it won't cost much for them to look at but it could save you from buying tires every year.

I've been told I have a loose bearing or two so that might be why I'm getting bald on top and not my age .

Both of my tires were cupping on both sides of them. I asked around and got a few replies, none helped. I carried it to a trailer shop, $150 later nothing found wrong with the trailer. A few things I learned. Bias ply tires form a flat spot after sitting for a couple of days. Radials take a while longer. They need to be rolled a bit before towing, 12 to 24 hours. Tires bounce or flex, higher speeds are worse, may want to slow down some. Tandem axles are better than single axle trailers.

I have owned a single axle trailer for 20 years I'm on my 3rd set of tires none that I have used wore funny. The tracker tires that came with it lasted just as long as the marathons I bought now I have a cheap set of off brand and they have been on it for 4 years and have seen 10k miles at least. So if you have radial tires I may have your trailer checked.

Most trailer axles have a little tow in built in. Being yours is new it could of been installed backwards where it is towed out.

I replaced my tires last year, and had similar cupping. The cupping was due to under-inflation. I replaced with Goodyear Marathon, made right here in USA, and are speed rated for 70 MPH.

There was/is a whole thread about it/them, let me see if I can find it for you.

Here it is, all the spec's for a Good Year Endruance, and its speed rated for 87Mph, not 70.

I put the Karrier radial tire on my trailer. I also went to a load range D instead of the original C that was on the trailer when I bought it. The tires I put on are speed rated up to 81 MPH.
