Default 2012 60hp four stroke fuel issue ?

My neighbor and I took my Tracker 175tf (2012 60 hp efi 4 stroke) out and I forgot to open the vent valve on the fuel tank. Now we made it out on CJ Brown but it started to sputter and I realized what I'd done so I got off plane and before stopping it shut down. I opened to vent and it let me know it wanted air but after priming it would not start so went back on the trolling motor. Home I was able to get it running after replaced the fuel filter but it would not stay running and ran the fuel out of the filter and was running very ruff and would stall. I noticed a vacuum leak coming from the module shown in the one pic and if a finger was placed on the open barb it smoothed out. I pulled the fuel pump and the pump membrane is stretched (I rebuilt my 150efi pump every 2 yrs before this boat had it over 13yrs and never an issue) so I called to get a rebuild kit and found only a new pump was available and had to be ordered. Bud's Marine at Indian Lake was great on ordering and parts man told me the module was a solenoid switch and was around $80. CAN anyone tell me if I'm going the right direction on the as the pump will be in today and I hope to be on the water later today or tomorrow before the fields dry out from the rain.Name: 100_1760.jpg

New fuel pump and the filter bowl stays up but after 60 seconds or so it starts to run ruff and shake then shuts down. As I've never had the cowl off on this motor while running I have no idea if the vacuum solenoid(first pic) is suppose to make a puffing noise but it is .

Cleaned the VST tank (screens & float needle ect) as well putting on ss hose clamps. Also replaced two short hoses that went from the fuel tank up to the motor as I didn't like the way the clamps had cut them. Now this after replacing fuel pump and a new fuel filter as well. Ran it on idle for 15 min and even tacked it up to 1200rpm for a few seconds on the muffs. Heading to CJ Brown in the morning to give it a final test !!
