I've heard of guys using those but wasn't sure how big a difference it would make. I definitely need to start looking into these before I order. Where did you get your batteries? I'm ordering this boat so can you get these from the dealer or something you need to get elsewhere and then add after the fact. Thanks for the info. Really appreciate it
Love my ultera and would not change it. I fish out of a champion walleye boat and use the 24 volt model and I can pull jigs all day at 1 mph. I do not have room for 3 batteries so I am limited to the 24. If I was pulling cranks and had the room for the 3 batteries then go with the 112. You can order the boat without the batteries and buy your choice.

I noticed most post in this thread are at least a couple of years old.
My questions are, how is the Ulterra holding up for you, are you still happy with it?
If you use the foot pedal is it as responsive as a cable steer?
If you were buying today which one Ulterra or Ultrex?
Most of my fishing is with jigs in stump fields, brush piles, trees etc. with some trolling and of course night fishing with minnows.
I have a cousin who loves his Ultrex but I would love to get rid of the clutter on the front deck. I am 71 and still in good health, but do have some
mobility issues, can't move as quick as i used to.
thanks for your replies.
