question on wiring 3 bank charger
22 ft pontoon,i have 2 batteries in the back,1 cranking battery and 1 for my blacklights and green fishing light.Then in the front my boat has a box for the trolling motor battery wired with a plug.I have a battery here wired to my new trolling motor i also use this battery for another green fishing light sometimes.I just ordered the minnkota 315 charger,im planning on mounting the charger in with 2 batteries in the back and running the wires to the front one,gonna be roughly 25 ft of wire,will be this ok so long as i use a good wire same size as the wire coming out of the charger?

They give instructions on the MinnKota website on how to properly add on to them....its in a pdf file you have to download it.

smart to have extra battery for green fishing light and blacklights as really drained my TM battery only time I tried it. will set up second one and so you have it linked to your cranking battery and now going to TM? Hmmm, going to have to look into that, would make life easier as no outlets on my condo's docks.Originally Posted by SLARUE
