What size is your current battery? Age? They don't last forever, it just may be time to replace it. Usually when I start losing service time, I know it's time.
My last battery was a 29 series deep cycle which I used for starting, aerator, bilge pump & electronics (3 units). It was a Walmart battery and lasted for 5 years.
I replaced it with a 27 series dual purpose (Duracell Ultra) from Batteries Plus about a month ago. I guess time will tell how if it will hold up. I just wanted to try a dual purpose battery this time rather than a starting or a deep cycle. Batteries Plus was the only place I could find one in stock that was near me.
I'm happy if I get 3 years out of a battery, anything beyond that is a bonus.
My boat is plugged into an onboard charger when not in use.
    I hope this helps.

Might also depend on what size motor you have, too !!

My 1999 90HP Merc will charge my series 24 starting battery, just from running around on the lake. It carries the outboard, a small HB 2d depth finder, and the livewell pump. (but I don't run the pump that much, either)
My series 29 battery runs the 42lb thrust trolling motor & Lowrance Elite 5DSI unit ... and it will usually last all day. Both batteries are Everstart (Wal-mart).

One tip, if you go looking around Wal-mart for an Everstart battery : don't let the sales person pick it for you !! Check through all of the ones in the series size you're looking for, and find the one with the little sticker that has the latest date (mo/yr). If all of the ones on the shelf are a year old or older, ask if they have any in the stock room that's newer. If not, or they refuse to check ... go to another Wal-mart or another store.

The last 4 batteries I've bought from Wal-mart have been less than 6mo old, and a couple were less than 2mo old.

The Everstart 29series has a 5yr warranty .... 2yrs free replacement, then 3yrs probated. Time will tell if the batteries hold up that long, but I've always had them last around 5yrs.

    And like Crappiemax ... my batteries are charged by a onboard charger (Minn-Kota 220 - 2 leads @ 10amps/lead)

Look on this page : Interstate Batteries | Marine Battery | Deep-Cycle Batteries | Watercraft Batteries | Marine AGM

You should find the "part number" or "CCA" number on the battery, and that will identify what size it is.

BUT .... if the battery is "weak" and doesn't hold a charge for very long ... it's time for a new one (and probably a bigger one, esp. if it's a series 24 and you use the aerator very much). I'd go with a series 27 minimum ... and if you can fit it in the space, a series 29 would even be better.

Just understand that as you go up in series size ... the battery will be larger AND heavier ... so if you have a battery tray or box, you may have to get a larger one of them, too.

And FWIW ... my series 29 Everstart marine deep cycle battery weighs 85lbs.

Like Pappy said, I'd go with a 27 series as a minimum.
Do you use an onboard charger and keep your charger plugged in? It really helps make your batteries last a long time.

My boat had a Guest 2 bank charger on it when I bought it & I have never had a minutes trouble with it. Plug it in after each trip & it's always ready to roll the next day. As far as batteries I replace them every 3-4 years like clockwork. When I can't get a full day out of them it's time to replace them.
