Anything digital and 10amps/lead would be my suggestion.

I have a BPS, 3 bank charger 5 amps per bank. It's maybe 5 years old I think, no problems at all and I've never had it not charge the batteries overnight. I have a 12v TM but I do run 2 batteries (29 series Wally World Everstart) and it works great. Batteries are going to be 3 years old in Nov so it won't surprise me if I have to change them this winter or next spring.
If I were to replace the charger I would lean towards something with a higher amps because I've heard you want to charge them quickly. I will never use anything except an onboard (smart) charger on my boat.
I'm not too much on using just one brand or another. In my search for an onboard charger I read both good and bad reviews on all of them.

I have a Minnkota 2 battery charger, 5 amps per battery. Works great. Although I wish I would have spent the $50 more at the time and got a three bank charger. When I bought the charger I only had two batteries, however I knew that one day I would go to a 24volt trolling motor set-up and need another battery. Well that happened sooner than I expected. Now my 2 bank charger is hooked up to the trolling motor batteries and my Ship-to-Shore charger gets attached to my starting battery.

Quick, someone teach me how to fish so I can win this tournament!!!
Go to Interstate battery ask if they have any reconditioned batteries, I just picked up a marine battery for $50. Someone brought it in and it was still in good shape. I use it for aerator and then I do not worry how long it runs.
Or you could just buy another marine battery an buy a Perko switch. Then you always have a battery ready to start the motor.
