    Default Starting battery ....no issue

I'm kinda slow but was looking at my starting battery on my boat I bought last year. Realised that instead of a two bank charger I have a three ...also noticed that "Starting" battery is a deep cycle...i run my electronics off it obviously. Got me thinking how many others have a deep cycle battery on their starting battery. I've had no issues but am curious running electronics off it wouldn't it be better? Just curious...

The dual purpose batteries might be better suited..

Nothing at all wrong with running deep cycle for cranking battery.

No problem as long as it has the recommended CCA for your outboard. Some need a lot of power to turn over and keep the electronics inside working.
