wiring 3 bank charger
Got a buddy who has 24 volt TM and has 2 batteries in series and is going to use charger...he was asking how to wire up his charger to the batteries....does he just use 1 bank of charger to the (+) of one battery and the (-) of the other?

A 3 bank charger should have 3 sets of charging leads. You don't say if he has a starting battery. Hook up one set of +/- leads to each battery. If it s a modern charger, the 24 volt series jumper can be left in place while charging. If he does not have a starting battery, tape off the 3rd set of leads.

Might want to check many times on a 3 bank charger the leads for the starting motor battery are different amp rating AKA trolling batteries 10 amps per bank, starting battery 5 amps.
