    Default Trolling motor upgrade

Wanted to share my trollingmotor experience with you all. Just bought a used boat with a bow mount MinnKota Edge 40. Knowing that this would be too small to handle the currents whereI fish, I looked into to upgrading it instead of shelling out $650 for a 24volt 70. Found that all of the parts on the 40 were identical to the Edge 70except the lower unit and the decal on the top cover. Got a new 24 volt 70#head for $200 and made the swap. Put 2 new batteries in the back and now I amgood to go. Anybody wants the scoop on how to make a similar swap just let meknow.
