    Default Honda 75 prop?

    Hi
Got a new Honda BF75, efi,
    Here's my issue
After breaking in WOT is only 5000 rpm, rated at 6000. Running stainless Twister 13.25x19 prop,
    top speed 39 mph on a G3 pro 175 boat,(hull 930 lbs)
the boat was initially poorly balanced so I added weight upfront, better now
    Excellent hole shot
Trimming higher to increase rpm just bounces the boat

    Do I need a smaller prop? 13.25x 17 or 15?
Will WOT at 5000 harm motor?
Doesn't feel lugged down based on hole shot.

    Thanks

Try the 17, should put you right in the range you need to be. Where is motor sitting on transom. If it is flat down, raise it one bolt hole to start with. Then check and may still have to change prop.

    Thanks
    Motor is in middle hole.
Going g from 19 to 17 would give me 400 rpms more?

At least that if not maybe a little more. Here is the ideal scenario, you get a couple of loner props from dealer and try them. You want to have your rpm roughly 500 below max with boat loaded And 2 people. That would put you right at 5500. Even though she is pulling good at 5000 it is still preferable to have it running as close to max as you can for all around performance.
